Many of us think of a Nyack house dubbed Pretty Penny when we think of Rosie O’Donnell and her Rockland County properties.
But that’s history since she sold that property in 2000. She turned around and purchased four parcels in the Hudson River waterfront community post-Pretty Penny. Now, the actress and comedian has listed these houses for sale. They are available either as one group for a family compound with four structures at $6,150,000 or individually, says Zillow blog.
In December we reported that after two decades in Nyack, O’Donnell with her five children planned to move to Saddle River in Bergen County, N.J. for family reasons. Here is a link to an interview with her from December.
The properties in Rockland consist of two along the Hudson River and two behind it. But it might be difficult to say good-bye to this view.
A recap of the houses:
1 Washington Ave. has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and a large porch. Listed for $2.5 million.And from the above photo it has quite a nice view of the river and the Tappan Zee Bridge. Listing agent for all four properties, Sanders Properties, says the home is in pristine condition.
2 Washington Ave., a remodeled 3-bedroom room with a shoreline view and a dock and skylight living room at $2.2 million;
4 Washington Ave., a one-bedroom ranch-style cottage at $600,000 which is clearly the most modest of all the houses; and
5 Washington Ave., a 4-bedroom home at $850,000.
