Whole Foods has signed a lease to open at Chappaqua Crossing.
The 40,000-square-foot store will be the anchor in a traditional neighborhood retail center planned for a section of the former Reader’s Digest property off the Saw Mill River Parkway and Bedford Road (Route 117) in the Chappaqua section of the Town of New Castle.
Completion of zoning and site plan review for the retail component of Chappaqua Crossing is expected to be later this year with construction on Whole Foods Market to begin thereafter.
The company currently operates approximately 375 stores in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. In New York there are 14 including three in Westchester: White Plains, Port Chester and Yonkers.
