The Yonkers-based Milio Realty Corp. is renaming itself Trion Real Estate Management to reflect the company’s regional growth.
“The timing for our expansion and rebranding is perfect – this is our 35th anniversary year and an opportunity for us to emphasize our commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients,” Trion Real Estate Management president Carmelo Milio said in a statement. “Trion’s portfolio now includes more than 1,500 co-op, condo and rental units throughout New York City and the tri-state area.”
Carmelo Milio is distantly related to Franco Milio, a Yonkers property owner and manager who was a key witness against former Yonkers Councilwoman Sandy Annabi and her political mentor Zehy Jereis when he testified about paying thousands of dollars to get Annabi to support a land-swap deal in 2006.
Annabi and Jereis were convicted of bribery, extortion and conspiracy charges and Annabi was also convicted of tax and mortgage fraud.
On Friday Carmelo Milio said Trion Real Estate Management has nothing to do with Franco Milio and that Franco Milio has never been involved with his company.
Trion’s new tagline: Trusted. Responsive. Invested. Always ON-Call was created to emphasize the company’s focus on client partnerships and hands-on customer service.
