The company that controls 3 Westchester Park Drive in West Harrison has defaulted on a $28.8 million mortgage.
Dryland Gannett 3 LLC and George Economou defaulted on Feb. 6 when the borrowers failed to make the appropriate payments, according to a Feb. 24 foreclosure complaint filed by Greenwich Capital Commercial Funding Corp. in the Westchester County state Supreme Court.
George T. Constantin, president and CEO of Heritage Group of Companies, which controls 3 Westchester Park Drive, said his company is in the process of restructuring the loan. In an email he wrote that the default is the process that must be followed.
“I trust this will sort itself out shortly,” Constantin wrote. “We will be starting work on common hallways, entrances and canopies in mid-spring–so more good things are coming to the office park.”
Constantin wrote that his company also restructured 2 and 4 Westchester Park Drive in 2012.
Dryland Gannett 3 lost a big tenant at 3 Westchester Park Drive last summer when the law firm Wilson Elser moved from there to 1133 Westchester Ave. in White Plains.
