An absolutely stunning estate on Scarsdale Cooper Road has just come on the market for $16.5 million. The home underwent a transformation last year when it became the Scarsdale Designer Showhouse, a benefit for Cerebral Palsy of Westchester. Julia B. Fee has the listing on the a 13,000-square-foot Colonial Revival-style main house which is on a large corner lot with a 1,570-square-foot guest cottage, pool complex, and a tennis court, greenhouse and a five car garage.
This was one of my favorite rooms when I toured the Showhouse, a sunroom designed by Lillian August with black striped walls. All the furniture from the Showhouse has been returned, but the entire home got a cosmetic upgrade.
