Robert Keller of Keller/Eaton architects is quite proud of his cliffside home in Cape Cod.
And it was just recently spotlighted online in House of the Week by the Wall Street Journal. This recognition allows Keller’s design to be in the running for House of the Year 2014 with 50 other national recipients.
Mr Keller’s home design was built on a grandfathered piece of property high on a cliff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean on the National Seashore in Cape Cod in Wellfleet, Mass.
And it features an open floor plan as shown below.
This modern design took advantage of the unique site and offered views from every room, locally sourced materials, a sensitive approach to light and space and a unique internal flow, explains a release from Keller.
“We are thrilled for the recognition,” he said of receiving the national recognition.
The firm is an architectural and interior design group based in Mamaroneck and has done projects in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Florida, Nevada and Washington. The principals are Robert Keller and Dianne Eaton, who are personally involved in all projects.
