Anticipating strong interest in an office building near the Tappan Zee Bridge and in central Westchester, CBRE Group’s Westchester/Connecticut office announces it has bee named the exclusive leasing agent for 520 White Plains Road in Tarrytown.
Known as the Tarrytown Corporate Center, it is a 167,554-square-foot, six-story office building that is considered Class A, says the company.
“520 White Plains Road offers potential tenants a unique opportunity to operate their business minutes from the area’s most significant interchange of major highways, bridges and roads with unparalleled access to hotels and shopping in the vibrant and dynamic Tarrytown,” said Brian Carcaterra, senior vice president. “We anticipate strong interest in the property from a range of companies, and we look forward to working closely with ownership to complete a successful lease up program will encourage local economic growth. ”
The building dates to 1978 but currently has 60,000 square feet of new contiguous space on the second and third floors. Renovated in 2006 and then again recently, the building has new signage, a modern lobby, a cafeteria and high-speed and broad-band data services.
Peter Hansen, senior associate, will oversee the marketing campaign of the project on behalf of the current ownership, SL Green Realty Corp. Clark Briffel represents leasing in-house for the ownership.
