Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton is scheduled to give the keynote address at the National Association of Realtor’s annual convention Nov. 8-11 in San Francisco.
And we bet she has lots to say about the housing market and the fluctuations in the real estate market, though she will probably be speaking about her accomplishments and what the future has in store for her and the rest of the world.
Clinton has traveled to a reported 80 countries during her time as U.S. Secretary of State, state senator from New York and first lady to Bill Clinton.
For now, the seasoned politician seems to be remaining in Chappaqua.
She and Bill bought a $1.7 million manor house in 1999 as a New York residence so she could mount her state senate campaign.
There were rumors that she was considering a move to Will-O-Woods estate in northern Westchester on Journey’s End Road.
She apparently looked at the historic 45-acre property, local realtors say, but she did not sign a contract for that grand property.
The new owner of Will-O-Woods is listed as Marian CRC Group, Inc., according to county records. There is some work going on at the site but it is unclear what the corporate name means and who is living there.
