Freburg joined Webster Bank in 2010 and is based in the company’s White Plains office. She has been the recipient of numerous awards including the Heroes Award for Professional Women in Westchester County and she received the 40 Under 40 honor in 2011.
She says the group will conduct monthly educational seminars beginning in September.
“We are focused on raising 40,000 pounds of food for the Westchester Coalition of the Hungry and Homeless over the next 24 months and we will have quarterly events focused on legislative, cultural and social topics,” said Freburg in a news release from Webster.
Webster Bank is a regional bank based in Waterbury, Conn., and serves businesses and consumers from metro New York to Boston.
Freburg is also active in the community including serving as board president of Friends of the White Plains Youth Bureau; chairperson of the 2012 Go Red for Women campaign for the American Heart Association for Westchester and Lower Fairfield counties; and is on the loan committee for Community Capital Resources.
