How did I miss this? Page Morton Black, the widow of Chock Full o’Nuts founder — she was famous for singing the coffee’s signature jingle — who lived in a Premium Point mansion in New Rochelle died on July 23. She was 97 and apparently died at her home, Bon Repos. There have been reports that the estate, which Black always refused to sell, even after her husband, William Black, passed away, may be for up for sale. Black was carried out of the home in 2008 after a fire. If anyone has news to share about Mrs. Black or her home, please leave a comment.
