Designer showhouses can be static, more like walking through a museum than an example of living, breathing design. Country Living Magazine took a different route this year for its annual House of the Year: They actively sought out people whose homes were devastated by Super Storm Sandy. They found Marian Lizzi, a book editor. Her 1,000 square foot bungalow, like those of most of her neighbors was rendered uninhabitable. Country Living remade it.
