Former Yankee center fielder Bernie Williams might soon be a former North Castle resident as well.
Williams and his wife Waleska have put their 6-bedroom, 9,000-square-foot home in the gated Thomas Wright Estates community of North Castle up for sale. Price tag: $3.5 million.
“It is a spectacular home — has everything and privacy. And more than just the details, it is a wonderful family home,” said Patricia Del Vecchio of William Raveis Real Estate, who has the listing with Sandra Scarano.
A special feature is an in-home recording studio to suit the current music career of Williams, who has produced albums featuring his jazz guitar talents.
The annual taxes on the property are just over $72,000. And the house is in the sought-after Byram Hills school district.
The house is on 2.19 acres and an additional vacant 4-acre parcel is also being marketed for $850,000.
Apparently, the Williams family hasn’t announced where they will move to, but local observers have said they are considering New York City, Greenwich and possibly remaining in Westchester.
Williams played for the Yankees from 1991 to 2006.
