Even in luxury apartment buildings in Manhattan space is at a premium, but this story that hit the online world Friday just makes me, and most of us, shake our heads in wonderment.
What some don’t know is that the really exclusive older buildings often have a floor of utilitarian-sized studio apartments for owner’s staff members who live-in but in their own quarters.
These apartments usually less than 500 square feet are up for sale. One “cozy” space at 432 Park Ave., is up for $3 million.
