The Builders Association of the Hudson Valley has announced its Pinnacle Awards for 2013 and the list includes some businesses – and interesting projects – in our tri-county region.
P. Morrissey Contracting, a Mount Kisco general contractor, won for the Best Custom Home of 6,500-square-feet or more. In receiving the award, President Patrick Morrissey said: “I am honored to receive this prestigious award, and thank all of the team members of our office and field staff for such a successful project.” The home (shown above in photo provided by the company) was part of a new estate built in New Castle that was completed in 2012.
The association represents the building industry in Orange, Dutchess, Putnam, Sullivan, Ulster and Westchester counties.
Other award winners in the area:
*Comstock Residential Contracting in Briarcliff Manor won two awards for best addition or alteration—between $250,000 to $500,000 and for $500,000 to $750,000.
*Murphy Brothers Contracting of Mamaroneck won for Best “Green” Remodeling Project and for Best Historic Commercial Renovation at over $1 million.
