Next month there is a coming together of fashionistas, realtors and an organization that helps the hungry and homeless.
The Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors, Women’s Council of Realtors and Bloomingdale’s will hold their annual Spring Fashion Event at the Harbour Island Club in New Rochelle on May 6.
The Westchester Coalition for the Hungry and Homeless, a nonprofit group of food panties, shelters and service organizations, has been chosen to receive contributions raised at the event and Bloomingdale’s will provide fashions for the show.
“It is critical for us, in the real estate community, to help those less fortunate,” event chairwoman Bonnie Koff, said in a press release.
Jeanne Blum, executive director of the coalition, praised the collaboration as one that “improves the quality of life for all and makes good sense.”
Registration begins at 11 a.m. with lunch and fashion at 12:30 p.m.
