It makes sense. With daughter Suri Cruise now living in Manhattan with mom Katie Holmes, the Daily News is reporting today that Cruise is looking for large, secluded properties where he can spend time with his young daughter in total privacy. Citing unnamed sources, the Daily News says Cruise is looking at estates and luxury properties in Northern Westchester, Greenwich, CT, and New Canaan, CT.
If Cruise does become a neighbor, he’ll have a Hollywood A-list right next door to invite over for pool parties: Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds are hunkered down in Bedford, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas, while Ben Stiller and family are in Chappaqua. Taylor Swift was just spotted in Mt. Kisco with a Kennedy.
If Tom is serious about his house hunting, we have a great suggestion: This fabulous waterside retreat in Pound Ridge is ulta-private, has a pool, its own lake and it was built by acting legends Hume Cronyn and Jessica Tandy as a weekend place.
