CHAPPAQUA – Houses aren’t the only commodities being heavily discounted in the Lower Hudson Valley these days.
The asking price of a 7,200-square-foot office building in Chappaqua has just been slashed down to $1.3 million from its original asking price of $1.5 million.
The deep discount is symbolic of the struggling commercial real estate market in Westchester, which has been marred by alarming levels of vacancy.
The Chappaqua site, located at the completely vacant 9 Hunts Lane, is a two-story walk-up, but it’s a good location just off the Saw Mill Parkway and several blocks from the Metro North station.
